Primed Cabinet Doors

If you prefer a streamlined style, our flat panel cabinet doors provide a contemporary alternative that works especially well with primed and painted cabinetry.

We offer priming on paint-grade maple, raw MDF, and MDF panels with hardwood frames. Additional wood types, such as walnut, red oak, and cherry, are available upon request.

Single prime coat: We recommended sanding if you want a perfectly smooth finish, as we do not apply sanding after a single only prime coat. We expect our customers to sand and apply a second prime coat before painting.

Double prime coat: No sanding needed, as we sand between and after coats for a smooth, paint-ready surface.

We recommend using a high-quality acrylic or latex paint, which adheres well to our primer for a smooth, durable finish. For oil-based paint, consider applying a bonding primer first for the best results.  

For a professional finish, we recommend applying two coats of paint over our primed cabinet doors. Lightly sanding between coats helps with adhesion and creates a smoother finish.
