Explaining the use of notch and bore and different variations.
Notch & Bore refers to the modifications we make to the back of the drawer in order to accommodate undermount slides.
Here is an image of a standard notch and bore cut out for a Blum Tandem plus Blumotion slide.
We can also create a wider notch to accommodate larger undermount slides, such as the Movento slides. When Movento slides are ordered with a set of drawers, we will automatically create the larger notch cut out in order to accommodate.
Below are the different notch options we provide based on the undermount slide application:
- 1-3/8" - Blum Tandem, Salice Futura, Grass Dynapro, KV MuV+
- 2" - Blum Movento, Salice Progressa, Accuride
- 5" - Blum Movento with TIP-ON set
- No - sidemount slides
